Our process engineers can provide a structured package of specifications and detailed design drawings for the client’s project. Our engineers are well versed with MPI’s requirements for sanitary design and draw on a wealth of experience from the dairy, food, and beverage industries when developing solutions for the client’s site. We take special care to understand the client’s existing processes, requirements, and culture in our design process.
We work closely with our clients to procure equipment from their preferred suppliers and minimise their catalogue of spare parts. We are not tied to any particular equipment supplier and have the freedom and flexibility to supply the equipment our clients prefer.
SPL maintains a highly skilled workforce of fabricators, based at our Hamilton workshops. Our fabricators generally work with stainless steel tube, pipe and structural stainless steel materials. All our tradesmen are certified welders including ASME IX and AS/NZS 2980:2108. We also regularly work as mechanical fabricators and installers to the designs of others.
Our experienced commissioning engineers are well versed with a variety of dairy processes and the potential pitfalls of commissioning. This experience leads to prompt outcomes, without the delays associated with equipment failure.
SPL has a practical approach to project management, emphasising flexibility, outcomes, and delivery. Our approach is light on paper, and strong on results.
