SPL’s work started in the dairy industry, servicing butter, cheese, ice cream, market milk, milk powder, casein, membrane and CIP processes. Over the last 30 years, our knowledge of sanitary design, sanitary fabrication and clean-in-place technology has allowed us to diversify into other wet processes, including beverages, juice, brewing and wine.
SPL is committed to the training of apprentices. Over the past 15 years, we have trained a number of apprentices to become high value tradesmen in the fabrication of sanitary pipework and equipment. This work helps to keep this niche skill sustainable within the local workforce.
SPL’s staff are familiar with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and have a comprehensive safety management system for executing project works on client sites. We regularly work within the systems of others.
